This CNC machine is suitable for milling the knife handle profile to make a tenon and drill it.
Description:
The rough piece are manually placed in the loader that loads 1 piece at time on the working table. The piece is automatically clamped on one side, the loader goes back to the start position and the cutter that is mounted on 2 slides driven by CNC, works half profile. At the end of this operation the piece is clamped on the worked side and the cutter works the other half profile. At this point the lateral milling device, execute the tenon with the desired profile, then the unit, that is mounted on a high precision rotary table, turns 180° bringing the drill in front of the tenon, in order to drill it with the desired depth. Once the working process has been completed, the piece is unclamped and unloaded while a new piece will be automatically loaded.
