AUTOMATIC PIPE GRINDING MACHINE MODEL “SAT/3000 CNC”
The SAT/3000 CNC is a machine dedicated to grinding the external surface of steel pipes, equipped with two independent grinding units to ensure maximum efficiency and processing quality. The workpiece is manually loaded between a driving centre and a tailstock, which securely clamps the pipe. Through an intuitive CNC interface, the operator selects the most suitable program according to the dimensions of the loaded piece. Each work cycle consists of two phases:
- Roughing: uniform preparation of the surface.
- Finishing: achieving the desired roughness consistently and repeatably.
The two grinding units, being fully independent and managed by the CNC, offer high programming versatility, allowing the machine to adapt to different production needs and enabling both dry and wet processing depending on application requirements.
